With a bachelor’s degree from Santa Clara University and a passion for technology, John Paul started his career in Guam immediately after graduation in 2001, with the creation of the Guam Cable Group and EC Communications LLC, a local telecommunications and internet company with a global network. After an exit through acquisition in 2005, John Paul joined Bridge Capital LLC, a privately owned investment bank seeking investments in emerging market gaming companies.


In 2009, John Paul returned to his family-owned enterprise as Chief Operations Officer of Tropical Productions Inc. From its office in Bonifacio Global City, in Metro Manila, JP managed a team of creative designers and writers responsible for publishing Guam’s number one magazine, UNO Magazine and local business publication, The Guamanian Magazine. In addition to his role at TPI, JP served as the Philippine Market Director for the Guam Visitors Bureau. Under his leadership, Guam more than doubled its visitor arrivals from Manila in 3 consecutive years.


In 2017, JP returned home to Guam with his wife and two sons to become the Chief Information Officer of MidPacific Holdings and its subsidiaries in Saipan, Palau and American Samoa.
