Katrina Palanca is the VP of Global Partnerships for Spurs Sports & Entertainment, where she oversees international sponsorships for the San Antonio Spurs and AT&T Center. Most recently, she was the Director of Sponsorship Strategy & Operations at Twitch, where she led the commercialization of sponsorship properties across gaming, esports and new verticals. During her time at Twitch, she helped launch the inaugural group of official marketing partners for Twitch Rivals and designed multi-faceted programs for first-time partners of esports properties such as Team Liquid. In addition, her team was responsible for providing top-notch sales representation services for external rights holders, securing sponsorships on behalf of premium gaming properties around the world. Prior to Twitch, she led the Global Marketing Solutions team at Barclays Center, the Brooklyn Nets and the New York Islanders, where she played a key role in launching the team’s inaugural NBA jersey patch partnership. Katrina is originally from Dededo, Guam and an alumnus of the University of Guam with a degree in communications, who now lives in San Antonio, Texas.

Having Guam education as her foundation, Katrina shares her journey on how she began her career after her chapter at the University of Guam. With her passion for sports, she began her career in New York with Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment as part of the global marketing solutions team. Shifting gears from the sports world, Katrina joined the tech industry through Twitch in San Francisco. She was recently the Director of Sponsorship Strategy & Operations at Twitch, where she led the commercialization of sponsorship properties across gaming, esports and new verticals. Hopping back in the ball game, Katrina is now the VP of Global Partnerships for Spurs Sports & Entertainment, where she oversees international sponsorships for the San Antonio Spurs and AT&T Center.
